DESCRIPTION:Talbot People\nPhotographs and book by Steve Lingeman\n\n\n\n“Talbot People” the new exhibit and book by photographer\, Steve Lingeman\, is now open at the Talbot Historical Society. This photographic exhibit highlights people of Talbot County – Easton\, Oxford\, St. Michaels Trappe and places in between. It’s about all of us and our families\, ethnicities\, ages\, affiliations\, religions and professions. This is a project of diversity and the extraordinary collective of people who live in and contribute to Talbot County.\nThere will be two groups of photographs displayed in throughout the duration of this exhibit. The current group of photographs will be displayed until the end of February. The next group of photographs will be on display for March and April. \nExhibits are open Wednesdays\, Thursdays\, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.\nLocation: The Denton Extended Museum and Hill Research Center\n25 S. Richardson on Friday February 9\, 2024 at 5pm. The congregation of Asbury United Methodist Church was established in 1836. Upon his return to Talbot County\, Douglass dedicated the church in 1878.
