Washington Street\, Easton\, MD 21601 \nJoin Preservation Maryland and Talbot Historical Society on Saturday\, March 22\, 2025\, at 10:00 AM for Researching Your Historic Property in Talbot County. During this in-person lecture\, Christiana Limniatis\, Preservation Maryland’s Program & Outreach Manager\, will focus on how to research historic properties for use in the landmarking process. She’ll review the major goals when researching buildings\, detail the key types of documents and research sources to consult\, and detail how to organize and process complete research for the use in landmarking whether at the local\, state\, or national level. \nThis presentation is free and open to the public\, but registration is preferred. SUMMARY:Outlaw Gunner Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce our newest exhibit\, “Outlaw Gunner”\, based on the book of the same title by Dr. Harry Walsh\, gunner\, surgeon\, co-founder of the Waterfowl Festival and much more. This special exhibit chronicles the history of waterfowl and the Chesapeake Bay through the eyes of Dr. Walsh. On display are artifacts from Dr. Walsh’s personal on loan from U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Department\, artifacts from the collection of his son\, Joe Walsh\, and from the Waterfowl Festival’s collection. \nExhibit Location:\n25 S.
