Meg Daley Olmert is a world-renowned expert on the neurobiology of the human-animal bond and its therapeutic effects. Her ground-breaking book, Made for Each Other: The Biology of the Human-Animal Bond, published in 2009, was the first to trace the evolution of this ancient bond to the emerging neuroscience that underlies this most powerful interspecies phenomenon. This is presented by the Talbot Historical Society in partnership with the Talbot County Free Library and will take place at the library located at 100 W. Dover St., Easton, MD 21601.
