Membership dues and Annual Fund donations help the society continue to operate by funding the maintenance of our buildings, the conservation of the photographs and artifacts in our collection, the purchase of new objects for the archives, the implementation of events and exhibits, and much more.

Our mission is to provide educational opportunities to the residents and visitors of Talbot County so they may learn from the past to build a future that preserves Talbot County as one of the best places to live. We believe it is our responsibility to contribute to the quality of life in our County by providing all who are interested with an opportunity to learn about our rich history.
Support Our Legacy With One of Your Own
You can extend your support of Talbot Historical Society beyond your lifetime with a planned gift through estate planning or financial planning. Please consider including Talbot Historical Society in your estate plans through a legacy gift in your will or trust, or by naming THS as the beneficiary of your investments.
Name Us In Your Will
Your gift can support Talbot Historical Society’s programs, capital needs, or both by naming Talbot Historical Society, Inc. in your will. Simply add this language:
“I bequeath (a dollar amount or a % of my estate) to Talbot Historical Society, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with its principal offices located at 30 South Washington Street, Easton, Maryland 21601 and with the Tax Identification Number (EIN) 52-6044645.”
A Gift of Stock
