In 2026, Talbot County commemorates the 250th anniversary of America’s founding with We the People of Talbot County, a powerful new exhibit exploring the county’s role in the Revolutionary War and the struggle for independence from British rule. Through rare artifacts, personal stories, historic documents, and immersive displays, visitors will discover how ordinary citizens of Maryland’s Eastern Shore answered the extraordinary call for liberty.
