Children’s History Scavenger Hunt

Week 4, Tilghman Island, Maryland
The Talbot Historical Society is calling all children and their families to “dig up” some local facts about our history this summer!
This week the hunt will focus on history in Tilghman Island, Maryland. Visit each of the four sites, use the informational plaques at each site to answer the questions correctly and take a selfie for a free ice cream! Rules and Prizes:
-Visit each site on the sheet (per week)
-Take a selfie at each site you visit
-Answer each history question
-Submit your contest sheet

Bring your completed sheet and selfies to THS, 25 S. Washington St., Easton, MD or email your completed sheet and selfies to THS at . If you feel comfortable, feel free to post your photos on our Facebook or Instagram page and tag the Talbot Historical Society so we can see what wonderful history you and your family are able to “dig up”!!

Each week, if you answer all four questions correctly and complete all rules, you will receive a coupon for an ICE CREAM TREAT!

The Contest will begin on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 and run each week for 8 weeks throughout the summer. Keep an eye out for the first sites and questions for the first week here on our website or on our Facebook and Instagram pages:
